  This Humane Society really needs to be shut down and all the animals and strays in Savannah need to be transported to Charleston Humane Society or any other animal shelter at that. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve called reporting dozens of stray cats around Savannah ( yes strays not Ferral) starving and to please come pick them up because I can’t keep continuing to feed them. They have not once return my call. I even went in there with bags full of blankets, dog & cat food and a hefty check. Not one thank you from any staff member. I wanted to so bad to take back all my stuff and give it to a humane society that at least has the decency to give me a simple “thank you”. But at the end of the day, the animals are the ones suffering, so I can’t let rude and unqualified staff effect these poor animals. ALSO every animal should cost the same. Just because they are full breed doesn’t mean you should charge more. A rescue is a rescue. I told Charleston humane society how they charge 300 for full breeds. The runner of Charleston humane society said that’s disgusting and makes you question where does the money really go too? Please guys do not get your animal from here. The animals won’t suffer because if they can’t be sold they send them to another rescue. Any rescue is better than this one.
