  I went out of my way and paid off 2 collections for very small amounts. I was more financially able to do this at the time I worked out arrangements than when the bill was first created. I called to see if they would remove the 2 closed accounts that shows a zero balance now or since 2014. The people were very rude and more or less just said you will have to suffer for 6 years and 9 months. If I would have known that I wouldn't have tried to contact them and set up payment arrangements. I would have just let it run it's course. I read on my report that these companies could remove these if they wanted too between 3 to 6 years. It's very sad that people will continue to be punished for something like that even though they done good. You know we will all stand in judgement one day for the good and bad we've done. Think about it!!!!
